Why You Should Never Lose Hope In Allah

Why You Should Never Lose Hope In Allah by Sheikh Ahmed Ali

Everyday is passing, Ibrahim (AS) is becoming weaker, Ibrahim (AS) is becoming weaker by the day. His wife now has passed the age in which women normally give birth, and you know logic and the intellect says, the future is getting bleaker and bleaker and bleaker for Sayyidina Ibrahim (AS), but you know Sayyidina Ibrahim (AS), didn't believe in logic and intellect, he believed in The One Allah. There was no such thing as despairing and losing hope in The Al-Mighty Allah. Why was there no such thing as losing hope here? Why? Because Ibrahim (AS) believe in that One Lord, Who Is The Lord of The Heaven and The Earth.

He introduces Himself in The Quran that He is The Lord of everything that exits out there, all the worlds, all the galaxies, all the planets, Ibrahim (AS) was praying to that very Allah, the one that makes the impossible possible, he was praying to that Al-Mighty Allah, wherever He desires and wills something, He say "Kun Faya Kun" (Be and it is).

Logic says that a child cannot be born in this age but he was praying to that very Allah SWT, Who created Isa (AS) from a woman, from Maryam (AS) without a father, he was praying to that very Allah SWT, Who created Hawa (AS), from the ribs of Adam (AS), he was praying to that very Allah SWT, Who created Adam (AS) without a mother and father, he was praying to that very Allah SWT, Who gave Maryam (AS), the fruits of winter He would give them to her in the summer and He would give her the fruits of summer in winter, when Zakariya (AS) would come and visit Maryam (AS) he would see all type of fruits there and when he sees all these type of fruits, he say to Maryam (AS): Nobody comes to visit you, where have these fruits come from? She respond: They came from The Lord of The Worlds that provides for every living creatures, whether it's in the depth of the ocean or whether it's in the sky, He provides for me.

Ibrahim (AS) was praying to that very Allah SWT, Who heard the cry of Yunus (AS), and where did He heard the cry of Yunus (AS)?, when Yunus (AS) cried: Oh Allah, there is no God worthy of Worship but You, You are free from any defect, Oh Allah, I was among the wrongdoer, where was Yunus (AS) when Allah heard the cry?, He was in the stomach of a fish (Whale), in the darkness of the night, in the darkness of the ocean, Allah responds to the cry of Yunus (AS) and gave him refuge, and protection, and saved him, and rescued him.

Ibrahim (AS) was praying to that very Allah SWT, when Zakariya (AS), when Zakariya (AS) made his dua (pray): Oh Allah, I become old and weak, my bones have began to crack, Oh Allah, my wife is barren, Oh Allah the hair on my head have become grey, Oh Allah I beg You, You are the one that gives children, Oh Allah, I beg You give me a child, and Allah SWT responded to the cry of Zakariya (AS) and gave him a son, Yahya (AS). This was The Being that Ibrahim (AS) was praying to. So why should you despair? Why should you despair?

And there's a lesson in here for everyone of us. Never despair and Never lose hope in Allah SWT. Beg Him by day, Beg Him by night.
